Internal baffling system:

The integrated structure includes a unique horizontal baffle located approximately 2/3 of the tank capacity level.  The baffle features one-way check valves which prevent water from surging back into the empty portion of the tank, thus contributing to the superior stability of this unit.  The combination of horizontal and vertical baffles create many separate compartments to control water surge within the tank.

High performance water pump:

5" x 4" is capable of providing 1,000 gpm at 100 psi to the spray heads and water cannon.  The pump is hydraulically driven with the hydraulic motor directly mounted to the water pump.  The pump design includes a stainless steel impeller and shaft for long life.

Spray heads:

The unit is equipped with a total of six (6) AGM manufactured spray heads.  Four (4) are mounted at the rear of the unit and can generate a spray pattern up to 70 feet wide for haul road coverage.  Two (2) spray heads are located on the top front corners of the tank and are set up for a vertical spray pattern to the sides of the unit and can be utilized on high walls and stock piles. Two (2) spray heads located on front of truck cab facing forward

Epoxy interior coating:

The interior of all AGM tanks are shot blasted and coated with two (2) coats of epoxy to extend the service life of the tank.

Interior piping:

Made from a high-density plastic (HDPE) with stainless steel connections

Hose reel:

Includes 50 feet of 1.5" diameter hose and nozzle and can be utilized for small watering jobs including equipment cleaning.

Power dump bar:

Located at the rear of the unit, the dump bar is a pipe with a series of 1/4 inch holes that deliver a stream of water directed downward the approximate width of the unit. The in-cab controls allow the water to be supplied to the bar using gravity or through the water pump for a pressurized flow.  In the event of a failure in the pressurized system, the gravity arrangement can be utilized until repairs can be made.

Ground level fill arrangement:

Allows the tank to be filled from ground level by attachment of a hose (at ground level) from a water supply such as a fire hydrant or auxiliary water pump to the piping built into the tank.  The water is piped up and directed into the standard fill port utilizing an air gap to provide an anti-siphon feature.

Dual fill ports:

30" diameter fill port located on the center line of the tank, plus an offset fill port on left side of the tank which allows operator to efficiently position the tractor under a water source.

Safety railings:

Located at the top of the tank, these railings are designed to meet the most stringent safety requirements of the worldwide mining industry.  They are collapsible (fold down) for shipment.  The access ladder to the top of the tank is incorporated with the safety railings.

Tank lighting:

AGM utilizes LED type lights for tail, stop, and side markers.  A rotating beacon is also part of the lighting package.

Water Cannon

(Monitor):

Stainless steel, hydraulically operated

Fill port:

The center-mounted fill port is equipped with a spring mounted anti-splash plate that closes the fill port once the tank is full.
